Two Men Attacked By Dog

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an alleged public order incident in Welwyn Garden City.


The incident is believed to have happened between 4.35pm and 4.45pm on the King George V Playing Fields. There was allegedly an altercation in the park between a group of about 15 men, and which involved a dog.

Two men received minor injuries from the dog.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information on the incident to get in touch. It is thought to be an isolated incident.

Five men have been arrested and police bailed. They are a 20 year-old, a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old, all from Hatfield. Also, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old from Welwyn Garden City.
