Man Dies In A Crash On The A1 In Stevenage

A1 Crash Stevenage

A man has died and a woman and two children are in a serious but stable condition after a collision on the A1.

The four people were traveling northbound in a dark blue Toyota Selica close to junction 7 for Stevenage/ Knebworth when they crashed at around 11:30 yesterday morning (Saturday 12th April).

The Hertfordshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene and the road was closed in both directions.

The woman was airlifted to hospital and two children were taken in a road ambulance. 

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Police trying and work out what caused the crash want to hear from any witnesses.
