Three robbers 'violently' rob 21-year-old man in his flat in Dunstable.
The men forced their way into the victim's home in Drake Court, Great Northern Road, in the early hours of Sunday April 27th.
He was in bed at the time.
The offenders hit the man with a broom stick and held a knife to his throat before forcing him into the living room and tying his hands together.
They continued to attack him with the knife while demanding cash, before knocking him unconscious.
They made off with his mobile phone, laptop, television, games console and wallet which contained around £40 in cash.
Police believe the may have left in a car waiting outside.
The 21-year-old victim suffered cuts and scratches to his shoulders and chest.
Detective Constable Tim Worden, who's investigating, says he's keen to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area or may have seen the offenders before or after the raid.
He also want's to speak with members of the public who posted some concerns that they had on the ‘Spotted: Dunstable’ Facebook page.
DC Worden said: “This was a violent and sustained attack and I am keen to speak with anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning. People may have been making their way home after a night out in the town and seen something suspicious or out of place and I would urge them to contact me. Even the smallest pieces of information could help us with our enquiries.”
The first offender was a white man, around 20 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, chubby, and wearing a black balaclava, gloves and a brown cargo jacket. He had ‘pointy’ teeth and his eyes had an orange tint to them.
The second offender was also a white man, around 20 years old, 5ft 11ins tall, average build and wearing an Adidas tracksuit with the hood pulled up to cover his face.
The third offender was a white man, around 17 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, average build and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a blue hooded top.
