Woman Dies After Bus Crash
A woman's died after a road crash in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, that left her trapped under a bus.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to Beehive Lane just before 6.40pm on Tuesday 20 November 2012.
The woman was treated at the scene and then taken to the QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City in a critical condition. She died later.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson, who attended the scene, said: “First and foremost our thoughts our thoughts are firmly with the woman's family at this tragic time."
Gary added: "Paramedics worked closely alongside firefighters and medical staff who came across from the nearby hospital to treat her at the roadside before she was taken to the QEII Hospital for further care."
