Benfleet: A13 Closed After Two Stabbings

Two men have been stabbed in Benfleet in the early hours of this morning.

Police have closed off the A13 in the area to carry out searches.

It's after assaults between Kiln Road and Benfleet Road at about 12.45am today, December 27.

 Two men from east London received stab wounds and one is still in a serious condition in hospital. The second man was allowed home after treatment.

 A man and a woman, both in their 30s and a teenage boy, all from Benfleet, were arrested in connection with the assaults and remain in custody this morning.

 Police have advised drivers to seek alternative routes around the central Benfleet area until investigations are completed.
