Boy 'Critical' After Clacton Crash

A four-year-old boy is in a critical but stable condition following a three car crash in Clacton on Friday night (November 25th).
The incident happened just after 8pm on Holland Road close to the junction with Sladbury's Lane involving a Ford Fiesta, BMW X5 and a parked BMW car.
The 28-year-old female driver of the BMW X5 was taken to Colchester Hospital with minor injuries and the four year old boy, who was a passenger in the Fiesta, received life threatening injuries and is being treated at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 30-year-old man from Holland on Sea, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and careless driving.
He's been released on bail until January 5th 2012.
