Brentwood: Pedestrian Dies After Hit By Van
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a van outside Brentwood railway station.
The accident happened on Kings Road just before 6 this morning (Thursday December 6th).
The man, who is in his 40s and from the Brentwood area, died shortly after arrival at Queens Hospital in Romford.
The van driver, a man also in his 40s and from the Brentwood area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has now been released on bail until next year.
