Clacton: Motorcyclist Dies In Village Crash

A motorcyclist has died following an accident in a village near Clacton.

Officers were called to Bentley Road in Weeley Heath at about 4.40pm yesterday (Monday May 13th).

The rider had apparently lost control of his machine and left the road.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s from the Clacton area, was taken to Colchester General Hospital where he later died.

A section of Bentley Road was closed until about 9.30pm while forensic collision investigators carried out their enquiries.
