Colchester: Bails Extended Over Stabbing

The bails of nine people arrested over the murder of Jay Whiston in Colchester have been extended.

The 17 year-old from Clacton was stabbed at a house party on Marlowe Way on Saturday, September 8 and later died in hospital. Police officers found a number of knives in the area, but they do not think any of them to be the murder weapon.

They were all released on bail, and today (Tuesday, December 18) their bails have been extended until Friday, March 22 2013.
