Driver Dies In Head-On Crash In Writtle
A woman has died after a head-on crash in Writtle.
Two cars collided on the A414 shortly before 4.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 1 July).
The vehicles involved were an orange Kia Picanto and a blue Ford Focus.
The victim, who was driving the Kia, was in her late 70s from the Chelmsford area.
A woman from the Focus has been taken to Royal London Hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be serious.
