Police say a teenager who has gone missing from his foster placement in Luton is likely to be Basildon.

17 year-old Andrew Beadie has friends and family in the town but officers say he needs to be back with his placement.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: "It may be that Andrew is with someone he knows who thinks they are helping him, but if you are found to be knowingly harbouring a young person who is missing from home you could face criminal offences.

"Anyone who knows where he is should contact their local police station, or contact PC Ian Evans at the Missing Person Unit of Bedfordshire Police on 01234 275136."
