Hatfield Heath: Man Dies Following Crash

A driver has died following a road crash at Hatfield Heath.

Emergency services were called at about 11.10pm on Friday (29 November) following reports a car left Pond Lane and collided with a tree stump.

The driver, a man from the Bishop's Stortford area, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow with serious injuries but died on arrival.

Pond Lane remained closed for about five hours while police investigation work was carried out.
