Up to two million public sector workers walked out today (Wednesday 30 November) in a row over pensions.

Unions say it's the biggest strike the UK has seen for 30 years.

More than 150 schools were forced to close as teachers joined nurses, bin men and border staff at marches and picket lines in Chelmsford, Colchester, Basildon and Southend.
