Teenager Stabbed In Grays

A 19 year old has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Grays.

The victim, who lives locally, was walking home along Conway Gardens when it happened at around 4pm yesterday (Sunday September 14).

He was pushed to the ground and stabbed in the side with an unknown implement and suffered a serious internal injury. He is receiving treatment at a London hospital where his condition has been described as stable.

Detectives want to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information about the victim’s movements at Grays Beach, shortly before the incident.

There is no description of the attacker but the victim is white, 6ft 1in and of slim build. He was wearing khaki-coloured combat shorts, a black T-shirt a blue Adidas jacket and red Nike trainers.
