Two teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man found stabbed in Southend.

24 year-old Anton Levine from Dagenham was found injured, along with another man, in a property on St Ann's Road at around 10.50pm last Wednesday.

He was declared dead at the scene while the other man, who is also 24 years-old, was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

A postmortem examination showed Mr Levine died from a stab wound.

Initially four people were arrested over the attack but two have now been released without charge.

A 16 year-old boy from Thurrock and a 17 year-old boy from Basildon are due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court today.

Essex Police said: "Enquiries are continuing and anyone with information about a group of men running through Swanage Road, Southend at about 10.30pm on November 19 should contact the investigation team on 101."
