Waltham Cross: Concerns For Missing Man

Calistus Chukwuma has the mental age of a four year-old and problems communicating

Police in Waltham Cross are searching for a missing man with severe autism.

19 year-old Calistus Chukwuma was last seen between 4.30am and 7am today at his home in Teresa Gardens. 

Officers say he has the mental age of a four-year-old and is unable to communicate effectively with the public. 

They say he does not have any friends in the area and his family believe he may have tried to go back to the area where he goes to school - The Sybil Elgar School, Acton College, Acton, W3 8RR. 

He is described as black, with a large build, around 6ft 2ins tall, and having very short cropped black hair. 

He was believed to be wearing red striped pyjama shorts, a white vest and trainers at the time of his disappearance. 

Anyone with information should contact the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101 quoting incident reference number 81 of the 20th August.
