Register for Race for Life

Do you want to be part of something amazing this year? Well, it’s time to think about dusting off your trainers and entering Race for Life 2010.

It's only for women and it's only 5 kms - you can run, jog, walk or even crawl! Every penny you raise will go to Cancer Research UK – to help more people survive cancer.

Events: There are over 230 Race for Life events taking place around the country between May and July and are open to women across the UK. There is no prize for first place – you can walk, jog or run the 5k course. Almost half of Race for Life participants chose to walk at their event.

How to Register:
Spaces will be limited at all events so make sure you register as soon as possible. You will be able to enter online here. Registration is now open

Your story: We would like to know why you are taking part in Race for Life. Will you be running in memory of someone special or to celebrate the life of a friend? Please share your story with us here (link to separate messageboard page).

The 2009 Goal:
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life began in 1994, with one race raising £36,000. In 2009, the aim is to get over 750,000 women raising even more to help bear cancer.
