New court date set for murder suspect

23 year-old Marc Allen from High Street, Leagrave, charged with the murder of a 47 year-old man from Flitton.

No plea was entered to the charge today (Wednesday 13th Oct) and that is now likely to take place on December 20, when a plea and case management hearing is scheduled.

Police were called to High Street South, Dunstable, at around 01.45hrs on Saturday (9th Oct), after reports of "an altercation".

47 year-old Paul Mondon of Greenfield Road, Flitton (near Flitwick), Bedfordshire - was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital with severe head injuries, but was pronounced dead after arriving.

Mr Mondon is survived by his wife and three children.

23 year-old Marc Allen of High Street Leagrave was charged with Mr Mondon's murder and appeared before Luton Magistrates on Monday, Luton Crown Court today (Weds 13th), and is due again on the 20th of December - to enter a plea.
