Monarch Ski - Rules
On Air Promotion 'Ski with Monarch' on Heart Four Counties,
August 2012
RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) apply to ‘Ski with Monarch’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 3rd September to Friday 7th September 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart Four Counties.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0845 841 0077 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.
4. Stuart will go down the Snow Zone slope using five alternative options, such as a Rubber Ring, Sledge or Snowboard. We will time how long it takes to get to the bottom using each one.
5. On Monday, we begin the game by picking two callers at random to take to air and start the game. The two entrants will play against each other. We will invite them to guess how long they think it took with that days selection.
6. The winner will come back the next day to play again against a new entrant - The entrant who answers the final question correctly on Friday morning wins the holiday. If they answer incorrectly they will not win.
7. They will receive a confirmation letter in the post within 28 days of the competition close date.
Eligibility:
8. All entrants must be 18 or over and hold a valid UK passport.
9. Multiple entries are permitted – you can enter as many times as you like.
Prize:
10. The person who win on Friday will win a 7 night skiing holiday for two people in Kirchberg, including:
- 2 x return flights to Munich from London Luton Airport with Monarch
- 7 nights’ accommodation for 2 at the 4-star Hotel Restaurant Rosengarten in Kirchberg on a bed & Breakfast basis sharing a room
- Local transfers in resort
- Travel insurance
- £250 spending money.
11. The prize is non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative
Terms and conditions for the prize:
1. The prize is valid for travel until 31st March 2013, subject to availability. The prize cannot be taken over peak periods such as Christmas, New Year, Easter and school/Bank Holidays.
2. The prize includes seven nights’ accommodation at the 4-star Hotel Restaurant Rosengarten in Kirchberg, on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a room.
3. The prize also includes two return flights with Monarch to Munich from London Luton airport.
4. Airport taxes and the carriage of one piece of hold baggage (20kgs) per person are included in the prize.
5. Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, onboard meals and drinks, seat allocations and the carriage of sports equipment).
6. Spending money, transfers to and from airports in the UK and hotel charges beyond the accommodation (such as meals and drinks other than those included in the bed and breakfast offering) are the responsibility of the winners.
