Gloucester: 10Yr Old Boy Flown To Hospital
A 10 year old boy has been involved in what police are calling a 'serious' collision with a black van in Gloucester.
The young pedestrian was involved in the RTC on Tuesday morning (13/01/15).
Heart has been told he has been flown to to Birmingham Children's Hospital with serious head injuries.
Police were called to the incident on Eastern Avenue around 08:30 on Tuesday. Offciers say it happened between the Coney Hill Road, Painswick Road junctions, on the Chequers Road side.
That road was closed for a while to allow the air ambulance to land to take the boy to hospital.
It has now reopened.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to call 101, quoting incident no. 45 of 13/01/15.
