Adrian Prout GUILTY of murdering his estranged wife

The husband of a missing Gloucestershire woman has been found GUILTY of her murder.

It took a just at Bristol Crown Court more than 14 hours to reach a verdict in the case of Adrian Prout,

Kate Prout was last seen at her Redmarley farm on November 5th 2007.She was reported missing four days later by her husband, but her body has never been found.

She had not taken any personal belongings with her, so police launched a massive search of the surrounding area, with over 100 officers searching land and lakes on their 200 acre farm, but her body was never found.

Adrian Prout was arrested and questioned twice on suspicion of murder, before being arrested again in March last year and being charged.
