Local film producers at the BAFTAs

Aturi films, based in Stroud up for an award

David Pearson and Lizzie Morgan-Hemlock run the film production company Arturi Films, based in Stroud.  This year, they were, along with directors Lucy Bailey and Andrew Thompson, nominated for a BAFTA in the Outstanding Debut Category.

They didn't win the award - losing out to a worthy competitor, Duncan Jones - son of David Bowie - for his film 'Moon'.

The film called 'Mugabe and the White African' is a real life documentary following a family in Zimbabwe who take on the President in a ground breaking legal battle.

So, from undercover filming in one of the most dangerous places in the world to rubbing shoulders with Hollywood A-listers... David and Lizzie spoke to Heart's Kate Justice about the film, their company and what its like to up for a BAFTA.
