Bluewater Style Event
Charlie O'Brien from Heart news went along to a personal style event at Bluewater
Last month - Charlie O'Brien from Heart Breakfast news went along to a one day only event at Bluewater to be styled in a pop-up boutique.
Charlie had a one hour styling session with Clare Watson from Glamour who also runs her own personal styling business. Sessions were available for both men and women.
Charlie told Clare that the one look she really struggles to create is 'smart-casual'. Working in radio means you don't need to wear suits to work but still need to look fairly smart every day, whilst still being on trend.
Clare taught Charlie that it is all about choosing 'separates' then working out how they work together. Combining wardrobe staples including skinny jeans, basic t-shirts, ankle boots and waterfall jackets - Clare showed Charlie how easy it can be to go straight from the office to drinks after work.
Charlie tried on a number of outfits all based around skinny jeans and boots. One look was created by adding a black leather 'biker' jacket, another by adding a 'waterfall' jacket and gold accessories.
