Dover Attack - Teen Charged

Police investigating an attack on a 15 year old boy in Dover have charged a man.


19 year old James Pettman of Belgrave Road, Dover is due in court later accused of GBH in connection with the assault on Saturday night.

Police say the 15 year old victim was involved in a confrontation as he waited for a friend outside a shop in Worthington Street at 9.45pm.

He suffered serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition in Kings Colllege Hospital in London where he has undergone brain surgery.

Four other people, three men aged 18, 28 and 31 and a 25-year-old woman have all been released on bail until 21 November pending further enquiries.
