32 Year Old Arrested Over Sexual Assault

Police investigating a serious sexual assault have arrested a man in connection with the incident.

A 32-year-old man presented himself at  a northwest London police station on Thursday, 21 March, and was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.

He was bailed pending further enquires to a date in May.

On the 6 February 2013 between 22:00hrs to 22:15hrs, a 17-year-old female was assaulted in Clarendon Road opposite The Royal Oak pub.

Previously he attempted to assault the woman while she was on train travelling towards Harrow on the Hill. It is believed the suspect got on at Eastcote Station.

The suspect then followed the victim as she alighted at Harrow on the Hill and assaulted her outside the station.
