Battersea Power Station is to be redeveloped next summer, in an £8 billion plan.

The iconinc landmark, empty since ceasing electricty production nearly 30 years ago, was bought earlier this month by Malaysian developers.

The plans include homes, office space and shops.

The famous towers will be preserved, and it will reportedly create around 33,000 jobs.

It comes as the Government hosts a conference aimed at attracting investment to the UK during the Olympics.
