Ken Livingstone's Mayoral election plans

Ken Livingstone has officially begun his bid for the labour nomination for Mayor of London.

Mr Livingstone says his priority will be to "protect" Londoners from the recession and Government spending cuts.

He's criticised the current Mayor over steep rises in public transport fares.
