Monday 1st August

We’re always looking for fresh new talent on Heart Breakfast and Jamie’s 3 year old son, Sidney’s always wanted to be on the radio like his daddy so we decided to give him a try. How did he get on? Click below to have a listen. He’s very cute (Sidney not Jamie!).

A man has built a 25 seater motorbike. Colin Furze (why are the people who do these things always called Colin?!) hopes it’ll be recognised by the Guinness Book Of Records as the world’s longest motorbike. He’s managed to get it up to 35mph but says it’s impossible to steer or keep upright. Sounds like a bit of a death trap to us but good luck with it Colin!

If you’d like to do something amazing and help transform the lives of children here in London and also abroad. We want you to join us for Barclays Take One Small Step Into the Night on Wednesday 21st September In aid of UNICEF and our charity Have A Heart. Click here for more information.

Sharon from Ashford was amazing on Hearticulate this morning. She scored 8 and will be going to Kempton Live to see Olly Murs (plus horses and fireworks!). There’ll be another chance to win tomorrow.

Jennifer in Fleet only got four questions right on Wakey Wakey. She wins a Heart Breakfast mug but wasn’t quite awake enough to get the Heart Breakfast alarm clock. Back to bed for you Jennifer!

It’s going to be a beautiful week this week (if Sidney’s forecast is right!). Enjoy your day – we’ll see you tomorrow.
