Man Robbed In Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Milton Keynes

A man's been attacked and robbed by a couple who had befriended him in Milton Keynes.

It happened on Friday afternoon in Netherfield.

The 49-year-old was sitting on his own on the green behind shops in Farthing Grove when a man and woman, who he didn't know, came up to him.

The man who introduced himself as Gary was pushing a blue mountain bike. The couple befriended the victim and then visited The Netherfield Tavern together.

As they came back the man then kicked and punched the victim and the pair made off with his wallet. 

The man is described as white, around 5ft 8 ins tall, aged in his thirties, of medium build with short brown hair, possibly wearing a black hooded jumper.

The woman is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, aged in her thirties and spoke with a northern accent.

The victim had to be treated Milton Keynes General Hospital for head injuries.
