Woman Attacked in Bletchley

Police have charged a 28 year-old man with attempted murder after a woman suffered head and leg injuries in an attack in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police were called to an address in Stoke Road, Bletchley, at 9.38am on Wednesday 16 October 2013.  A 29 year-old woman was found with head and leg injuries.
 
She was taken for treatment at Milton Keynes General Hospital where her injuries were thought to not be life-threatening.
 
Arthur Smith, 28, of Drayton Parslow, Milton Keynes, was charged with one count of attempted murder.  He was due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Friday 18 October.
