Mariah Carey announces Christmas album

Carey's new Christmas album to be released on 2 November

Mariah Carey has announced she will be releasing a Christmas album, Merry Christmas II, on November the 2nd.

The record will include original material, such as the first single Oh Santa, and traditional songs. The First Noel, O Little Town of Bethlehem and Little Drummer Boy have all been given the Mariah's treatment.

Merry Christmas II is a follow up to her 1994's Yule album, Merry Christmas.
