Butchers See Upturn In Trade After Horsemeat Scandal

A butcher from Yarmouth in Norfolk has been telling Heart how he's seen an increase in trade since the start of the horse meat scandal.

Andrew Edmonds who owns Bradwell Butchers near Yarmouth said “We can’t believe how many beef burgers are flying off our shelves. More and more customers are coming through the door.

"Our meat is sourced from local farms and we pride ourselves on this. Our burgers are not only homemade and totally tasty, but 100% free from horse meat, a promise the local supermarket can’t guarantee.”
