Cannabis Plants Found In Drugs Raids

Police have found more than 50 cannabis plants in two seperate drugs raids across Norfolk.

31 plants were seized after police officers carried out a drugs warrant in Caister last Thursday. 29-year-old Michael Roe, from John Road in Caister has been charged with producing cannabis and possession of cannabis and will appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 5th.

Meanwhile, a man's been bailed after more than 20 plants were found in Bradwell. A member of the public alerted police on Saturday to an address on Crab Lane where a 26-year-old man was arrested for the cultivation of cannabis.

He has now been released on bail for further questioning until January 31st, 2011.
