East: New Equipment Will Open Roads Quicker

Police in Suffolk and Norfolk are getting some new kit, that'll help them get roads moving again quicker after car crashes.

The laser scanners will build up a digital picture of the crash scene - which means police don't have to take time surveying the area.

The Department for Transport has awarded 27 police forces across England a total of £2.7 million for the funding of this new equipment.
