Filby: Cyclist Dies After Collision

A cyclist has died after a collision between the bike he was on and a transit van yesterday morning on the A1064 Main Road at Filby near Great Yarmouth.

It happened at around 8.20am when the bike collided with the back of the van.

The 83-year-old man who was riding the bike was pronounced dead the the scene by the ambulance service.

Police are appealing for any other witnesses to this collision to come forward, or have any information in relation to the manner of driving of either a white Ford Transit van or the pedal cyclist prior to the collision.  Please contact PC 431 Crowley at Roads Policing, Wymondham on 0845 456 4567.
