Gorleston: Teen Arrest After burglary

Police have arrested a 16 year old boy in suspicion of burglary after a break in at a shop in Gorleston.

It happened in the early hours of Monday 9th July at Springfield Road in Gorleston.

A till, containing cash and stamps, and alcohol were stolen in the break-in around 2.30am.

Police arrested the 16-year-old Monday afternoon on suspicion of burglary and he was taken into custody at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed by officers.

The teenager has now been bailed to return to police on September 4, for further enquiries into the incident.
