Men Charged with Christmas Day Murder

Three men have been charged with the murder of a man found dead in a flat on Christmas Day.

45 year old Martin Edwards was found after police were called to a flat on Old Foundry Road in Ipswich.

51 year old Hugh Hegarty from Limerick Close, 37 year old Christopher Page of no fixed address and 28 year old Timothy Bailey, of no fixed address are all charged with his murder.

A woman who was also arrested at the time has been released on police bail.

Officers are now trying to locate Mr Edwards' friends and family.

It is thought Mr. Edwards may have family in Suffolk but officers are also looking at the possibility that he may have links in the Surrey area.
