A man has been charged with the theft of almost £800,000 following an investigation into his employment with a wills, probate and inheritance services company in Norwich.

52-year-old Peter Jones has been charged with theft of the credit balances, two counts of fraud, and false accounting after Heritage Legal and Financial Limited raised concerns about irregular business activity in a former director’s accounts to Norfolk Constabulary in February 2013.

Jones, of Kings Arms Street in North Walsham, is due before Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday 14 April 2014.
