Norwich: Police Release CCTV Pictures After Assault

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Norwich.

The incident took place in Upper King Street in the city at around 2.45am on Sunday 20 October 2013.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was walking along the road with friends when he was subjected to an unprovoked attack resulting in him needing hospital treatment for facial injuries.

There are believed to have been a number of people in the area at the time of the assault and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may recognise the man in the image wearing a black T-shirt with 'G STAR' on the front.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Matthew Springall at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
