Norwich: Two Guilty of £12m Fraud Conspiracy

Two men have been found guilty of conspiracy to defraud in a £12million case.

Two people have been found guilty of conspiracy to defraud one of Norfolk's richest men.

Its after millionaire businessman Graham Dacre from Norwich was conned out of around 12 million pounds.

George Katcharian, 60, and Cemal Esmene, 56, were convicted of defrauding a Norfolk businessman out of millions of pounds after being found guilty by a jury at Norwich Crown Court yesterday (18 October) following a two-month trial.

Danish national Katcharian was convicted of two charges of conspiracy to defraud and Esmene, a Turkish Cypriot national, was convicted of one charge of conspiracy to defraud and one charge of conspiracy to launder criminal property. Both men will be sentenced on Monday 22 October.

It follows the successful conviction of three other men in June this year relating to the same matter.
