Police Fears Over Missing Woman

17 December 2010, 06:05

Suffolk police are telling Heart they are getting 'increasingly concerned' about a woman who has been missing overnight.

57-year-old Brenda Peck from Capel St Mary has been missing since around 12:45pm yesterday, Thursday 16th December 2010.

She was last seen at her home address by a family member, however at some point between 12:45pm and 4pm she left the property and has not returned or been in contact.

A search is in progress for Brenda but officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to get in touch immediately. Due to the weather conditions police are this morning requesting that local residents and businesses search their garages, sheds, barns or anywhere someone could stay overnight.

Brenda is described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build and with short fair hair. She is thought to be wearing black trousers and a black anorak, which is just past waist length and also wears glasses.

If anyone has any information they are asked to call Suffolk Police on
01473 613500.
