It's after a 31-year-old man was attacked on Riverside Road, between Gas Hill and Rosary Road on Friday 18 April. He suffered stab wounds to his face and neck.

Ali was remanded in police custody to appear before Norwich Magistrates' Court this morning from 9.30am.

Two other men were arrested in connection with the incident. 25 year old Kamal Hajizada, of no fixed address, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court yesterday accused of one count of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 12th June.

No further action will be taken against a 35-year-old.
