Two Arrested after House Fire

Two people have been arrested after a house fire in Lowestoft.

Emergency services were called to attend a house fire in Normanston Drive in Lowestoft at around 12:50am on Saturday morning

A 51-year-old woman suffered burns and smoke inhalation and is currently being treated at the Broomfield Hospital. A 49-year-old woman was also treated at the scene for minor burns.  
Police have now arrested a 36-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman both from Lowestoft on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger lives. The 19-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assault. They remain in custody at Lowestoft Police Station.

Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who went missing in the Kesgrave area on Thursday and are renewing their appeal to trace her.
