Woman Charged After Shooting

A woman is due to appear in court this morning charged with murder, after a man was found shot dead at the weekend.

Detectives from the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team (MIT)  charged the 49-year-old woman with murder last night following an incident in Stratton Strawless between Aylsham and Norwich at the weekend.

Police were called to Botanbay Farm, Shortthorn Road, at approximately midday on Sunday 12 June where the body of 59-year-old John Loveday was discovered.

Catherine Hodges, of Buxton Road, Horstead, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.
