Hearts very own Producer Arianne Merry, Marketing Executive Anna Vitiello and Creative writer Fiona Taylor along with some friends are headed for China!
In May this year the team of trekkers will be heading to the Great Wall of China in support of the Have a Heart Trek China Appeal and they are having a Ball to help raise funds firstly to help get them closer to the wall and so they can make a real difference to local causes through Have a Heart. ...An amazing event is taking place on the 13th March 2010 at Highgate House in Creaton. The Heart Trekkers Ball! It will be a fabulous evening of food and dancing and all in support of the Have a Heart Charity.
Heart Breakfast's Jagger & Woody will be hosting the evening and Heart drivetime presenter Dan Fox will be entertaining guests with a Club Classics disco later in the evening.
You will be greeted with a champagne reception and have a chance to explore the beautiful grounds at Highgate before being shown to your table and enjoy a fabulous 3 course meal cooked by Highgate House's top chefs! The evening will include a charity raffle and auction with some fantastic prizes on offer.
The event itself will hopefully raise a significant amount of money for the Heart Trekkers Charity Appeal. There are in fact 14 Trekkers in Northampton who are all busy raising funds to get them to the Great Wall of China and raise money for Have a Heart in the county. The great thing about the charity is that the money raised locally stays local so you can really see it making a difference where you live!
