5 arrested after man stabbed in the back

A woman and four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the back during a fight in Northampton.

The 29 year old man, who has been named by local people as Scott Foran, was taken to hospital in the early hours of Saturday with serious stab injuries outside an address in Park Drive, Kings Heath.

He is being treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Police had been called at around 3am after reports that a fight had broken out at a party in a flat. Vehicles in the area were damaged.

The five people arrested have released on police bail pending further enquiries.
They are a 38-year-old woman from Kings Heath, two men aged 19 and 18 from King's Heath, a 22-year-old man from Duston and a 19-year-old man believed to be local.
