Cannabis Found In Lorry

Cannabis resin thought to be worth three quarters of a million pounds has been found in a lorry in Crick, Northamptonshire.

The discovery was made by Northamptonshire Police during a routine stop and search.  A 34 year old man has been arrested.

Officers went on to pursue two other lorries into Warwickshire they were stopped on the M6 in Crawley and seized. Those two lorries are in storage, waiting to be searched.

A 34 year old man and a 45 year old man were arrested at the scene.

All three men arrested have now been released on bail.
