Girl Slapped And Punched By Woman

A 16 year old girl has been slapped and punched in the face by a woman in Daventry.

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information about the assault, which happened on the evening of Friday 7th June.

Between 9.30pm and 9.45pm, the girl was talking to friends in Chantelle Court when she was approached by a teenage woman who asked the group to keep the noise down.

The woman then slapped the girl in the face, the girl slapped her back and the woman then pushed the girl to the ground and punched her in the face four or five times.

The offender is described as white, aged 18-19, around 5ft 6ins tall of skinny build. She had dark-coloured hair, worn with a fringe, and was wearing black leggings.
