A man has died after being crushed beneath the wheels of a fairground ride which was being moved in Northamptonshire, police have said.
The 45-year-old fairground worker died following the incident at the temporary funfair site at Bassett's Park, West Villa Road, Wellingborough, on Wednesday night (April 27th).
He's been named as Michael Patrick O'Brien who lives at Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex.
Police have said he was crushed to death beneath the rear wheels of the ride as it was being moved into place around 6pm, police said.
