Man Hit By Car

A 57 year old man's been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Northampton.

He was struck by a blue Volkswagen Golf that was travelling along the A508 Barrack Road towards Regent Square at 8.40am on Tuesday 27 August 2013.

The man was taken to the University Hospital Coventry where he was said to be being treated for serious injuries.

Northamptonshire Police are trying to find people who saw the crash.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on the non-emergency number 101.
